  • Invited to join the advisory board of TIATA FAHOZI, a London based, West African theatre company.

  • Evaluator for the NATIONAL TRUST project, “THE UNTOLD STORY”.
  • Invited to represent the ROYAL NATIONAL THEATRE at preliminary meetings, in MOSCOW, for a European young people’s Theatre Festival, EUROPEAN SCHOOLYARD STORIES. (EUSYS.)
  • Assessor for the ROYAL NATIONAL THEATRE’S, “SHELL INTERNATIONAL CONNECTIONS” project.
  • Invited to join the ROYAL NATIONAL THEATRE’S “BRANCHING OUT” initiative. Linked drama work in Britain with work in HUNGARY, leading to the “LITTLE BRIDGES ONE AND TWO” projects.

Steven Downs has over 25 years of experience as a published writer and director in some of the largest theatres in the country, from the Royal National Theatre in London to the West Yorkshire Playhouse. He has also worked on several international drama projects in Russia, Hungary and France.
